- Raffia is a fiber derived from the leaves (fronds) of the Raffia Palm in the country of Madagascar.
- The fronds are then made into strips and either dyed or kept the natural color. It comes packaged into bags containing various length and width strips.
- Raffia has a natural "straw-like" feel and is an extremely versatile fiber used for crafting, handicraft and decorative projects.
