Making Gifts Special with Gift Wrap Tissue Paper

It?s the thought that counts.  We have all heard this when giving or receiving gifts, and while we usually mean it, no one can help but get excited about a beautifully wrapped present.  Making your gift giving extra special is really very simple, easy and affordable for people.  When a gift is given to us, and the giver has taken the time to use great gift wrap tissue paper, we know that we are valued and loved.  Not only has this person taken the time to give us something, but he/she also cares enough to go the extra mile.  One might say that it?s the packaging that counts.

We most often save tissue paper for the inside of packaging to product the gifts inside.  Recently, as gift bags have come into vogue and are the solution of choice for hard-to-wrap gifts, it is used to wrap items gently or to cover them so recipients get the thrill of unwrapping their presents ? a thrill that you never outgrow.  While these are great uses, there are even more ways to use this versatile gift wrap.  You can create your own custom wrapping paper easily.

Try using the tissue to make flowers to adorn your package.  This gives gifts an even nicer appearance, and again, it conveys the impression that you have spent time and thought on this present.  You can also use two different colors, placing one sheet over another, and then wrap.  This will make a more opaque wrapping, and it can also produce great color combinations.

When you have odd-shaped items, such as wine bottles, you can simple wrap the tissue around it, add a ribbon around the neck, and you are ready to go.  There may not be much mystery as to the gift, but it is a thoughtful and lovely gesture all the same.

We all have bits and pieces of tissue paper lying around our homes from gifts we have received ourselves.  This is great for re-using, but if it is ripped and torn, you don?t want to regift it.  Instead of putting it into the recycling bin, try making your own wrapping paper.  Using a large piece of tissue or even a large sheet of thin paper, create a mosaic by gluing small pieces onto the large sheet.  It will have a stained glass appearance, which is classic and fun at the same time.

Packaging for your gifts shouldn?t cost as much as the gifts themselves.  When you want the polished, professional look of in-store gift-wrapping, you can find gift wrap kits or reams of sheets at wholesale prices.  This saves you money while providing you with the quality and appearance you want.  There are typically hundreds of sheets per ream, and the choices ranges from white tissue paper to amazing colors, so you will have enough to wrap your gifts and create wonderful projects anytime you want.  No more spending money and time looking for personal, beautiful gift wrapping in stores.  Simply invest in some double-sided clear tape, some ribbons and bows, and a few gift bags, and you are ready to give anytime.
